SANCTUARY: Fulfilling Life's Purpose

A new sermon series begins helping the Marvin Family to gain a deeper theological understanding  and appreciation for worship.  God has created us for the purpose of worship.  In the words of A.W. Tozer, “We are born and reborn from above to worship.  We are created and re-created to worship.”  Worship is like running a life-long race where we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses, asked to throw-off the things that hinder and the sin that entangles us, run with perseverance, and fix our eyes upon Jesus.  In the words of missionary Frank Laubach, “Open your soul and entertain the glory of God and after a while the glory will be reflected in the world around you.”Sermon text: Hebrews 12:1-2
